We would like to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of Umma Connected, a non-governmental organization based in Uganda. Founded by Zaid Mahboub Kasujja, residing in the United Kingdom, our organization was established during the COVID-19 pandemic with a mission to conduct Zoom lessons to teach people about Islam as a religion.
Our vision is to contribute to the Islamic reawakening and improve the socio-economic welfare of Muslims and humanity at large. At Umma Connected, we believe in empowering individuals and communities through education, advocacy, and outreach programs. We strive to create a positive impact on society by promoting social justice, equality, and respect for human rights.
We are committed to promoting interfaith dialogue and fostering mutual understanding among different communities. We believe that by working together, we can create a more peaceful and harmonious world.
